Resolve Live Grading with Ultra Studio 4K?

I have DaVinci Resolve on a MacBook Pro Retina 15 (with Mavericks) and want to try the Live Grading.
I have UltraStudio 4K connected with thunderbolt.
And: It's not working.
Do I need an 2nd device to get this done? Like the Ultra Studio Mini Monitor?
Because I see in the preferences that I can only select capture and playback use OR live use - not both together.
Capture and playback is working, I have no problem to show the image on a Monitor, but in live use I can't get the Camera image to Resolve. Its just black.
Can someone help me?

Hi, you will need the Desktop Video v10 driver which is not quite ready.. we previewed at IBC but its still in QA. Hope to have this out soon. In the meantime, its in or out.
