I was reading around that the BMI Pro wasn't compatible with i7 processors. I have an i7 4770k and was wondering if the BMI Pro was compatible with it.

Not sure where you read that the Intensity pro wasn't compatible with i7 CPU's, but wherever it was they are wrong. There have been some issues with some motherboards, mainly mATX boards and usually by Dell and HP

I have an asrock z87 pro 4 will that be compatible?

I've not tested it on that board, but have used the Z87 Extreme 4/TB4 board and the intensity worked on that for me
