Setup to capture ATEM PS 4K Switcher output

Looking for a good way to capture the "program" feed from a ATEM PS 4K Switcher. I'm using Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12 as my editing software. My thought is to install a BM Mini Recorder in the editing PC then run a HDMI or SDI program output to the BM Mini Recorder. Sounds good in theory. What do you think? Do you think my Sony editing software will pick this up as capture feed??
