Atem camera convertor Intercom

Hi
Just setting up the camera convertor to studio convertor intercom.
Does the intercom have a audio gate on the transmit from the studio convertor.
I can hear it gating is there a way to constant transmit?
Also my xlr cables are now stuck in the mic in inputs on the studio convertor and i cannot get them out any ideas?

Yep it is annoying (and unprofessional) and as I have mentioned in other posts here that it is re-assuring for a camera operator to hear background noise to know their comms system is working.

Did I mention it was annoying?
