Cascading mini converters

On my current setup I have an analog audio/video source (eg a DVD player) connected to an analog to SDI mini converter, since this mini converter has 2 sdi outputs I wanted to check with you guys, can I use a battery mini converter SDI to HDMI connected on the output of my already existent converter to watch its output on a normal TV without disrupting my existing production environment? (I don't have a screen with an SDI input at the moment).

The setup I'm looking for is something like:

Code: Select all
DVD Player ==> Analog->SDI ==> SDI_OUT_1 =====> Encoder
                          ||_> SDI_OUT_2 ==>SDI->HDMI===> HDMI_OUT ==> TV

Thanks for your assistance.

For the benefit of anyone else wondering if these converters can be daisy chained, I got this from one of their support representatives:

Yes this should work as the Analog to SDI has two SDI outputs which are both live at the same time. So you could take the secondary SDI output and connect this to a SDI to HDMI Mini Converter to send to a HDTV to view the incoming signal.

Thanks to Albert Chu for giving me a hand to figure this out
