Will Black magic Intensity Pro sit inside DH77EB motherboard

PostSat Dec 07, 2013 12:02 pm

Hello

I am planning to assemble a small micro-itx cabinet using INTEL's DH77EB motherboard. I am not sure if the PCIe slot of black-magic intensity pro (PCIe (1 x 16) or similar) will fit in the Intel's DH77EB motherboard.

I am pasting the PCIe specs supported on the Intel's DH77EB:
PCIe x1 Gen 2.x 3
PCIe x4 Gen 2.x 0
PCIe x8 Gen 2.x 0
PCIe x16 Gen 2.x 1
PCIe x1 Gen 1.x 0
PCIe x4 Gen 1.x 0
PCIe x8 Gen 1.x 0
PCIe x16 Gen 1.x 0
PCIe Mini Card Slot (Full Length) 1

Could some one please clarify this as I am confused on the term Gen 2.x and 1.x terms and there is nothing as such on the technical specs of Black-magic's intensity pro card.

Thanks,
Rohit

Intensity will physically fit in the x1 slot. It's backward compatible from Gen2 down to Gen1 but please keep in mind we have not certified this motherboard so no promises it technically will boot and run.

P.S. All of the boards are PCIe Gen1 except for Decklink 4K Extreme which is Gen2.
