Hyperdeck setup 8.1 Filename Prefix not working

I just downloaded HyperDeck Setup v8.1 and was excited to see a "File Settings" section with a "Filename Prefix:" text field to enter filename prefixes. There was a red exclamation point in the field, which turned to a check mark after entering text in the field. Ckicked on save, and then HyperDeck Setup software crashed when trying to change settings again. The entered text was not saved to the HyperDeck, at least any subsequent recordings with the ATEM Software Control did not show prefix.
Setup: macOS 11.6.7 (BigSur), Hyperdeck Studio 4K Pro, ATEM 1 M/E Constellation HD switcher
Anybody experience anything similiar?
