Intensity pro breakout cable extension

PostFri Dec 13, 2013 12:52 am

(Did a search for this, sorry if it's been covered...)

I assume the breakout cable-to-card connector is a standard data or monitor plug of some sort. Are there any specs I can use to get an extension for it? I don't want to extend each cable, I'd just like to get a few more feet before the fan of connectors. I'm guessing there's an off-the-shelf male-to-female out there somewhere... anyone know what sort of connector I could order?

The connector is standard. They should be easy to get ahold of. It's a D-sub 26 connector.

I'm PMing you the cable pinout for the Decklink HD Extreme (which is the same pinout except it has more things on it). So don't wire up the RS422 the SPDIF in or the -phase of the balanced audio and you should be good. You can just copy your current one for the most part as well.

Thanks - will just buying a male-female extension off the shelf work?

Hello Joshua,

I also would love a copy of that pin out, please.

I have an Intensity Pro card (not the 4k one, Just the one that does HD) is that also a D-sub 26 connector?

Thank you.
