Create File for playback on Video Assist monitor

PostThu Jul 28, 2022 4:24 am

:?:
I am trying to create a file which will playback on the Video Assist 4K monitor. I have in the pass managed to use Adobe MediaEncoder to create a file for the Hyperdeck however this codec do not seem to work. I have just download DaVinci imported the file then exported using the options H.264, H.264 Hyperdeck however these did not work either.

I have also tried the deliver option custom quicktime DNxHD with no luck. Any suggestions?

I have copied a previous recorded file to the SD card that I am usin, which works, so I dont think that is issue.

The Video Assist doesn't support any flavor of h264. QT and DNx are the wrappers. Here is a list of supported codecs from the specs page. If using .mov then use Prores, the various flavors of DNX are listed below.

Good Luck
