HDMI Passthrough - Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI

Hello, I am interested to learn if the HDMI input feed on the Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI will pass-through the converter to the HDMI out as well as the SDI out.

Or does the device require and SDI input in order to use the HDMI out?

I was able to locate a helpful YouTube video that explains both SDI and HDMI outputs will automatically be utilized with the same feed when only one input source is used. So to answer my own question, yes, HDMI input will pass-through to the HDMI outlet.
