Ultrastudio Monitor 3G no sound output

The Ultrastudio Monitor 3G does not play audio output from Avid Media Composer. Mute HDMI video only.
I also checked all the security settings as reported in the manual and everything seems correct.
No audio settings appear in the Desktop Video Setup App.
Audio should be embedded in both HDMI and SDI.
How can I solve?

Could you solve your problem? I have the same issue.
I just updated my Blackmagic Ultra Studio Monitor because my EIZO CG2420 didn't get any signal.
Now I finally can see my Video but lost the audio. Seems like AVID sends the signal to HDMI and it doesn't matter how many times I press: Play local audio when Broadcasting. It doesn't work.

Yes, I had already solved it last year by connecting an audio cable from the monitor into which the Blackmagic HDMI cable enters to my sound speakers.
There are also HDMI cables that are possibly splitted into audio and video.
