I've notived trying to submit a new post takes up to 10 seconds to get processed.

Are administrators aware of this?

Why? How fast does it need to be? Anyway, I’m not in a hurry to read the next post. I read it at my reading pleasure and speed.

I'd have a look at your internet speed, browser, and any anti-virus, all of which can affect speed. 10 seconds is hardly a lifetime though.

This post took 4 seconds from hitting Submit to appearing. I just timed it. ;)

To clarify what Antti says, the issue only occurs when you start a new topic. It's been happening for a while, I think I first noticed it about a month ago. Replies aren't affected so browsers, anti-virus, internet speed and so on isn't the root cause. It's on the server end.

There's no feedback while you're waiting, this is why you sometimes see people starting new topics multiple times because they've clicked the submit button more than once when nothing is seemingly happening.
