You just need BMCC and a Thunderbolt cable. 2meters maximum is recommended. I am running of a 3meter cable. A fast disk would be great when you use DBX (prores uncompressed).
I use it on a PC notebook with Thunderbolt (HP Zbook 15).
First connect BMCC and Computer.
Turn on BMCC. Wait until it is connected.
Then start up Media Express.
In Preferences input the right FPS and codec to your taste, and fastest disk to record (for ProRes 8bit also a normal harddrive should be fair.).
Ok then to capture/log view.
Push the capture button and it is recording.
(Fullscreen does not seem possible but it is quite big.
Does anyone know how to get the monitor bigger, would be much appreciated.)
That's it
