My only guess is somewhere there is an issue between software versions of drivers and operating system, and used hardware (computer) old/new or maybe also intel or M1 cpu…(some software/hardware does not support M1 chip, check compatebility lists on the BlackMagicDesign website)
removing old drivers first before down/up grading drivers…rebooting software, after each change …
then be sure used resolutions are set correctly, and supported. (too high frame rate?)
Be sure all is real Thunderbold 2, cables and devices at both ends.
