Quad Split

PostMon Sep 26, 2022 11:47 am

Has anyone discovered the optimim settings on the Multiview 4 to minimise the frame delay? I'm using one with a 4K TV to show the desktop output of 4 computers in their native resolution at 1920x1080.

I appreciate there's always going to be some frame delay through the Multiview and the telly itself, as I can't sync the output of the graphics cards on seperate PCs, but wondered if anyone had already come up with a solution?
As the sources all run through HDMI to SDI converters, I wondered if gen lock could help, but Blackmagic HDMI to SDIs don't come with gen lock, so that's a non starter.

Cheers.

The BMD MV always had a big latency issue..

Personally we use Decimator MV's for non Atem setups. As they are still the fastest MV we have seen.
