Error with RAW files

PostWed Dec 25, 2013 9:30 pm

Hello! Just got the Pocket Cinema Camera as a Christmas gift (awesome) and I'm attempting to film some test footage in the RAW CinemaDNG format. I am using a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB (95MB/s) card. When I insert the card into my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.8.4) and attempt to open the file, I think that I'm supposed to a lot of individual images...but instead I'm getting just really messy images without any detail to them. My camera has the latest software update. Any ideas as to why I'm not seeing individual images here for my RAW files?

The Mac's Finder does not read Compressed DNG files. So you can't preview them in the Finder.

You need to open them in Resolve, After Effects, Lightroom or PhotoShop (among others).
