External Power confusion.... Help

Hi all,
I truly appreciate this form as I have learned a ton!!!! but I have come to some confusion when adding v mount batteries to my kit. how to connect it all. There is a lot out there and
for some reason, my brain is not understanding how or why to connect these things. I am not electrician . May I throw out a hypothetical listing the equipment and ask how would you power the rig. If anyone has the time I do appreciate the help.

equipment
1. 6k pro (do i leave the internal battery in or out when going externally?)
2. external monitor
3. DJI autofocus (taking camera off gimbal)

How would you power all this ? One V mount with a specific sequence of connectin or disconecting? two power sources? one for camera and another for the monitor and focus? And trick is to keep it as light as possible and allow for handheld or shoulder mounting. Thanks so much--- i really appreciate this.

It doesn’t really matter if you leave the battery in or out. If you keep it in it will be charged. If you put it out the weight will be a little less.
I’m using my BMPCC on a gimbal and feed it by the gimbal. When the battery of the gimbal goes empty (BMPCC powers off) then I remove the power cable from gimbal to BMPCC and then I can run again about 45 minutes on the battery of the BMPCC.
