I'm another video guy trying to get my new UltraStudio Recorder 3G to work with a new Mac Mini M1 running Ventura 13.0.1. Same deal as everyone else.........."no video device detected". What's the latest approach to getting this thing running. I've reloaded Desk Top 12.4 a few times and also tried a lower version (11.0) nothing working yet. Thanks.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime. -------------------------------- Robert Niessner LAUFBILDkommission Graz / Austria -------------------------------- Blackmagic Camera Blog (German): http://laufbildkommission.wordpress.com

i have the same problem with macbook m1 max computer. System Report shows me UltraStudio 3G recorder, but Destop Video 12.4.1 cannot find it. The usual "no video device detected" message. macOS 13.0.1
I just installed 12.4.1 on my Mac Ultra and it hosed all of my MIDI setup and device drivers for everything else. Going to have to completely re-install the OS (Ventura)
Sorry guys, I know you are trying to figure out Ventura, but 12.4.2 is not working either. I've uninstalled the old version and restarted a bunch of times and "no desktop video device detected" still. The little light is on the Recorder 3G and I've tried two different cables and did all the privacy and security things correct. I have got to find a way to get lots of old beta cam tapes into my system to edit. Been off for a month. (maybe make my old Intensity Shuttle work with Ventura....it was great.)
