ATEM Mini not Updating

I have come to expect ATEM mini to be buggy, clitchy and just plain clunky. So no surprise when I found that my ATEM mini is not updating it's software. I have the latest 8.10 Software control installed but when I open ATEM setup, and it us "suppose" to auto update the firmware... it doesn't. It is still version 8.6.3

Anyone know why the ATEM is not prompting me to update? And how I can force it to update?

Not every update of the Atem software is relevant to every piece of hardware. I believe 8.6.3 is the most recent update to the Atem Mini, so what you describe is perfectly correct. Later updates introduce support for the Constellation HD range.

If you connect your device and it doesn't prompt to update, that means it is running on the most up to date version already.

Same here... ver. 8.7.1 has updates for Atem Mini Pro and mine is still stuck at 8.6.3
How come?
