As of Desktop Video 11.7 or later, the Intensity Shuttle is supported on Intel Mac computers ONLY running MacOS Big Sur. They will not work on an M1 Mac.

Correct, BMD has a hardware & OS compatible list at their support.

I am still using a MacBook Pro with 32bit OS (Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6) for my Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt 2,
works still perfect even with 8GB RAM but use it only for capturing SD like VHS PAL with codec ProRes422LT
Another (2nd hand) MBP with better hardware i update the OS on, as far as it can be done, one must be carefull with any update/upgrade.
Intensity Shuttle, ATEM Mini, Video Assist 5"(mini USB), Hyperdeck ShuttleHD,Analog to SDI mini-converter, software: Davinci Resolve 15 on Sierra, Resolve 18 on Catalina. (Using Apple OS 32 & 64 bit on different MacBook Pro's
