OK everyone, I need your help. I am new to this forum but have been using this card for a few years now. Our old live stream computer crapped out and I built a new one and am using the older Intensity Pro capture card. Initially the setup went perfect. I got all the video and audio to work in OBS setting the correct resolution and frame rate. Seemed like it was going to be a piece of cake. Then the frustration hit.
After shutting down and restarting the computer all I can get is a black screen in OBS and no audio. After many frustrating attempts to solve, I was able to get it back up and running after shutting the computer down AND physically turning off the power supply. when I turn it back on and restart the computer, everything works perfectly. This works every time without fail.
I believe the issue is a setting on the motherboard but I have not been able to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. The system is as follows:
Core(TM) i5-12400F
64.0 GB DDR5 ram
ASUS Prime Z690 motherboard
NVIDIA GeForce GTX970 video card
ADATA Legend 960 M.2 SSD
Windows 11 PRO
