Iphone to SDI

I am trying to connect an iPhone 13 Blackmagic APP to an SDI installation.
I am using an Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter and then connecting to the SDI line using a Blackmagic UpDownCross HD mini converter but can not get a signal.
I am succesfully using this same connection to convert a 4K signal from a micro HDMI on a Canon M50 to the SDI line.
Can you please advise me what I can do to get a signal.
