Resolve 19 Studio New Features Missing

Hello, I've installed the latest studio version(19) but the new features are missing. I initially thought I accidentally installed the free version so re-installed with studio but the same thing. All the new features are still missing. I'm at a loss to know why. Can anyone suggest a reason?

Only two reasons come to mind. You still didn't download and install the Studio version, or you installed 18.6.6 instead. With Resolve open and you click on the DaVinci Resolve top left and click on About, do you see this?

Like Charles says top left under DaVince Resolve you can "check for updates" also you can set in preferences to opt in to Beta program which will pop up windows to download the update. In both cases done from within Resolve you will be directed to the correct version.

I install it with my registration and I have the studio 19 showing, but not the new AI audio tools

Some new Audio Ai features are per track only, and some only work on mono sound clips… Search for videos going over how to get these features to show up, as some are hidden by default.

You have to select a track. The controls are not clip but track based.

I am currently also facing the same issue - Downloaded the latest Beta 19 - No additional features for the audio tracks appear in the inspector despite selecting the track/clip - Some of the color page features like the 'Film effect' etc seem to be working right.
Any other solutions - Any one ?

Only Voice Isolation and Dialogue Leveler appear in the Inspector. Dialogue Separator, Music Remix, and Ducker are track FX in the Fairlight page.

An additional way of adding the Track FX, which I missed out , is to click on a track header in the Edit page. You will then get the FX in the Inspector. Music Remixer is shown as an example.

Thank you for your reply, I am unable to see the Music Enhancer on the Edit page or in Fairlight - I have installed and then downloaded it again and reinstalled it with no luck.

A basic thing. These are Studio only FX. Are you using the Studio version of Resolve?

Yes, I have used the Studio version since 2021 using a dongle. I have also downloaded the Studio version public beta 19.2. I installed and reinstalled too and the problem is on both my machines -
I appreciate you taking the time to respond. If you have any other suggestions, I am open to trying to fix this.
I don't know how to attach an image to show you my screenshot. Knowing that would be helpful too

Here's how to attach pictures. The maximum size is 2Mb and you can have up to three per post.

You are selecting the clip, not the audio track. Click to the left of where it says 2.0 in your Audio 1 track.

Works on both my Studio Max and PC . However, it is just a track effect and the track must be clicked to select. If you want the effect on just a clip then move that audio to its own track. Try moving an audio clip to another track. I can actually get the inspector set even if there is nothing on the track just click on an audio header with no audio.

You are seeing what I expect you should see. What do you think is missing?

If you want to see the Track Level effects like Voice Isolation, Dialog Leveler, Dialog Separator, Music Remixer, and Ducker, you need to select the Track icon in the upper left of the Inspector. Just to the left of Green tara...

I experienced the same issue when I first downloaded 19. Turns out, however, I mistakenly downloaded DR, not DRS as planned. Hence the absence of the features. Compounding the problem was, once I realized the issues, I kept trying to load DRS over DR without first uninstalling DR. Once I figured that out DRS launched just fine with Music Remixer (which is pretty cool BTW).

Which raises several questions about the downloading and upgrading process.

It would have been nice for BM to alert me to the fact that I was entering an incorrect serial number when accessing the DRS download. Instead, it gave me every impression it was downloading DRS when in reality it was downloading DR because they rejected the incorrect serial number.

It would have been nice to receive a warning that I was about to override my installed DRS with DR during the initial install.

It then would have been nice for DRS to alert me to the need to uninstall DR completely before uploading DRS, and giving me the option for DRS to do that automatically without me having to do so via Windows.

What should have taken 10 minutes took over 2 hours of attempts, troubleshooting and research.

Just so you know, Studio does not ask for a serial number on install.
