Hi everyone, I’m starting using BM products. I justo got from a friend a BM video assist 6G that is no longer available. I would like to know if I need to install any update and if so which one should I install. My friend used the monitor like twice, but now that I got it I would like to know if there is something else that I need to do before star using it.

My advice would be, if it's correctly detected, don't do any update, so no firmware update, if the recent drivers won't work try to use older ones, It's a good idea to start a ticket/email directly to BMD for this.
