I've have a codec conundrum I need help with. The small theatre where I am screening my documentary has a non DCP Rec 709 projector.

To color grade the documentary edited in for this venue I need to match the projector's color profile to the correct display setting of my Apple XDR P3 1600 monitor. The color temperature is 6500 and the maximum brightness is 80%. Like all digital projectors, it has a rec.709 profile; however it is unknown whether the gamma is 2.4 or 2.6. I've been in touch with the manufacturer and they shared the colormetric info below.

Can any of you Davinci expert colorists/math wizards determine from attached the color points if I should be exporting to Rec709 2.4 or 2.6?

I'm guessing that the HDTV (BT.709-BT.1886) is the correct reference monitor setting as the two Digital Cinema options are for high end DCP XYZ cinema projectors.

For a cinema environment that’s dimly lit, rec709 gamma 2.6 will provide a brighter image to compensate for the darkness. Gamma 2.4 is for viewing in general lighting conditions, so is 2.2.

Curious as to what brand and model is this projector. It seems like a home theater 3LCD projector of some sort.
