AMD Graphics card crashes when pushed.

Just fitted a AMD RX7600XT with 16gb of RAM.
The card works ok until you attempt one of the more strenuous effects like 'relight' whereupon Davinci will slow or stop & within a few seconds the AMD card simply crashes - not the PC, just the card - leaving a blank screen.
It's not the first AMD to do this. The 7600 is a replacement for a 7800 with the same problem which, at the time, I believed to be the fault of the card, but now realise the problem is either PC, program based or an AMD set up problem.
My question therefore is: has anyone else suffered this problem & would they know of a workaround?
