Resolve worked for years and now won't open
Posted: Fri Apr 25, 2025 8:52 pmHello. I've been using Resolve for small projects (YouTube videos, Instagram, etc.) for several years. It's all been good until lately, when the program will start to load, but then, with no indications as to why, it stops loading and vanishes, including from the task manager. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted registry keys, and uninstalled and reinstalled again. I updated the graphics drivers (which were already updated, but I did it again just in case), and tried both versions 19 and 20. Nothing so far has helped.
This is what I am running: MSI Windows 11 Home 24H2, all up to date. All drivers are up to date. 128 mb Intel Arc graphics. 32 GB RAM. Intel Core i7 155H.
Again, it aborts with no error messages.
I realize it is the free version, but I don't use it enough to rationalize the professional version. I'm also far from a professional.
I would so appreciate it if anyone knows what is wrong and what I can do to get it working again.
