Are the audio inputs TRS or TRSS? I am trying to connect a Neewer CM28 Lav Receiver to the ATEM and cannot find information on if the ATEM takes TRS or TRSS. I have tried what I "THINK" is a TRS cable (bit do not know as i am not an audiophile) and mothing seems to come through. I have also tried the Google to no avail.

Neewer sent me the following information:

To help you connect your CM28 receiver to the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro using the 3.5mm stereo mini jack, please first confirm whether the ATEM Mini Pro’s audio input is TRS or TRRS.

Our CM28 receiver outputs via a 3.5mm TRS jack, so you will need a compatible cable depending on the ATEM Mini Pro’s input type:

If the input is TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve), you can use a standard TRS to TRS cable.

If the input is TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve), then you’ll need a standard TRS to TRRS adapter cable.

Once confirmed, please choose the corresponding cable.

TIA for any wisdom and help y'all might have!

The ATEM Mini microphone inputs are TRS unbalanced Stereo. You should be able to directly connect your lavalier to this as it’s quite common. I know the wireless Rode works but I don’t have experience with the Neewer. It should work. I hope this helps.

The ATEM Mini Pro ISO’s mic inputs are 3.5mm stereo jacks that follow the TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) standard, not TRRS. Since your Neewer CM28 outputs via TRS, you should be able to go TRS-to-TRS directly. However, make sure the mic input is set to “Mic” or “Line” in the ATEM software control, wrong setting there can kill the signal entirely
