Voiceover Recording issues

I'm trying to add voiceover to video (see attached screenshot).
Patch Input/Output seems correct and I have been able to Arm Audio track (A2) to record.
However, when I try to record Voiceover on A2, it is not working (no sound registers).
Any ideas? Many thanks.

What type of mic are you using? If USB mic or USB interface, is it set to be used as the input device in Preferences/Video and Audio I/O?

Thanks Charles. I'm using the built-in microphone from my laptop which has worked successfully previously and is working on past projects when I checked but not on this latest project for some reason.

Check all the audio settings on your computer as a Windows update may have reset one or more to default.

Great, Charles. Thanks. Got sorted by muting the other audio track.
