Smart Videohub 40x40

My Smart Videohub 40x40 within the last couple weeks has been locking up randomly. Happens every day. Some days a couple hours apart up to around 12 hours. When it does the app looses connection and the buttons on the hub itself becomes unresponsive. The device continues to function, there is just no control. The only fix is a total power cycle. I was running on firmware 7 and had been for years with no issues. I've updated to the latest firmware now. I've changed ethernet ports on a local switch. I've even changed static IPs on the device. Still no luck. It was installed back in November of 2019. Any one have any thoughts or does it need replaced?
