TVS & MacBook not talking

PostFri Nov 02, 2012 3:34 pm

I have been running my TVS from a 21" iMac for 6 months with no problems. Recently updated to Vers. 3.3 with no problems either. So I just installed the 3.3 software on my new 17" MacBook Pro, ran the BMD Setup Utility, set the IP address but the Atem control software wont see the TVS. If I switch back to the iMac - no problem, all works well. Re-connected the MBP, power cycled the TVS, re-booted the MBP - still no joy. Any ideas please?

Some ideas:
blocking firewall
checking Little Snitch
checking the Network-setting on MacBook (maybe there is something configured to be fixed/static)

OK, kindly ignore the thread I posted above. It's more likely that something is different between the two networking settings on your computers, since your laptop doesn't work but your iMac does.

Sorry, I'm still learning!
