ultrastudio usb 3 issue

I'm getting a picture but it flashes and a green strip appears through it. Anyone know what could be causeing this? In the blackmagic design control panel some of the options are grayed out, is this normal?
I have a new i-7 3960X system. I believe it is compatibale.

Can you try a SD resolution? It's possible that your bandwidth over USB3 is not quite there. I've seen this a few times on Asmedia USB3 controllers.
