Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 with Early 2011 MacBook Pro?

PostThu Jan 10, 2013 1:11 pm

Hi!

I'm quite new in the land of Blackmagic Design Hardware...
I'm just wondering about the possibility of using an early 2011 macbook pro in conjunction with the USB 3.0 Intensity Shuttle in order to allow my son and I to capture Xbox 360 Gameplay.

I can use either component or HMDI input/output but HDMI would be preferable.

Thank You!

Unfortunately the Intensity Shuttle USB 3.0 (as well as our other USB 3.0 products) are currently not compatible on the Mac platform. Additionally they are not backwards compatible to USB 2.0 ports. If his MacBook Pro has a Thunderbolt port, you might consider the Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt instead. Alternatively, we do have an H.264 Pro Recorder that has a USB 2.0 port and is Mac compatible.
