Hello,

At the moment, not that I am aware of.

I believe the WDM support is currently only for video ingest.

I'll be happy to relog this request on your behalf.

Nice to hear that!

In today reality and with internet and devices there are so many codecs that is a problem to output to SDI and analogue. Many of us use VLC to playback video in computer and the software enable to play almost every codec. The ability to output to SDI is a feature that can facilitate everybody life.
No need to reconvert to put the files on air. This can be great. :)

Hope in new Drivers version this can be built in! ;)

Thanks!

I just found a paid solution called Vidigo Toolbox ! It has some other nice functions like skype integration !

But the price is too high to me now !!

VLC is open source.

BMD supplies a free SDK for the Decklink.

Why not post this on the VLC forum. Somebody may want to take this project on as the prices on some Decklink cards has fallen to $150. This is well within a hobbiest price point.
