Intensity Shuttle Output to Two Programs

Hello,

I am trying to record and display the video feed from our camera at the same time using the Intensity Shuttle as an thunderbolt input device on our iMac. Here is our specifications of our system setup:

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
macOS Sierra 10.12
Processor: 4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB

Blackmagic design Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt
Blackmagic Design Video Setup Version 10.8 software
Blackmagic Design Media Express 3.5.2 software
RenewedVision's Propresenter 6.1.0

Inputs on Intensity Shuttle: HDMI (Camera feed)
1st Thunderbolt connection into the iMac

Output from ProPresenter:
Thunderbolt to HDMI output to a TV
2nd Thunderbolt connection on the iMac

I have tried doing the following setup in order to use the device's output of the Intensity Shuttle to record through Media Express (ME) and display the video feed through RenewedVision's ProPresenter (ProP) software.

If I have ME off, ProP will record the live video feed. If I have ProP off, it outputs correctly. However, if I have ProP on first, then try to open Media Express returns an error that "blackmagic hardware could not be found in your system". If I have ME on first, then try to trigger the live video feature on ProP, it will not output to the output display and just remain black on screen (as if it connect access the feed at the same time). I have verified my settings in ProPresenter to match the same settings for the camera and Media Express works fine by itself.

Is this a limitation of the Intensity Shuttle to only allow one software to control the output feed at a time? Does anyone know of another way to get this to work like a piece of software which creates another virtual device which mirrors the Blackmagic Design Media Express camera feed or Blackmagic Design Video Setup Version 10.8 software interface?

Thank you,

Mike

BM devices can only be accessed by one piece of software at a time.
