Weird audio problem and dropped frames - intensity pro

Hey everyone,

I have a black magic intensity pro for recording xbox. On my latest recording the audio when played back to the tv is perfect (through media express). When I try to watch it in media player etc it is just a loud garbled mess of noise, I uploaded it to youtube incase it helps. (

) Any ideas on why this is happening?

I'm recording in uncompressed mode. 720p 59.94 through hdmi

Also when I run compressed mode to record it's not smooth at all and drops lots of frames. Why would uncompressed be ok and not compressed?

Windows XP Pro 64
HP XW9300
AMD Opteron 252 (2 cpus) ~2.6ghz
10240mb ram
Disk Write Speed: 296.7 MB/s
Disk Read Speed: 303.3 MB/s

I think the problem was having my computers audio on max while capturing in case anyone else comes across this problem.
