Hi
If I connect an NX70 to a Shuttle 2 via HDMI, the shuttle doesn't report any video data being received. I've tried various menu options and I've tried a variety of frame rates (720/25p, 720/50p, 1080/25p, 1080/50i, 1080/50p). If I connect the camera to a non-Sony TV via HDMI, the TV detects the signal and displays the video as expected.
Seeing as HDMI is fairly standard (in the case of the NX70) I would guess that (1) I'm doing something wrong somewhere or (2) the NX70 is querying the connected device to determine whether or not it is a recorder/display and deactivating the HDMI output accordingly.
Does anyone have any experience with these products ? I'm really just experimenting. I mostly use my Shuttles with EX1s/3s on SDI.
