Analog to SDI mini converter No Color

PostFri Mar 15, 2013 1:38 am

I have an analog CCTV camera connected to a BMD analog to SDI mini converter that ties into a Decklink Quad. When connected to a TV monitor color is fine, but only black and white through the converter. The manual doesn't tell me much. I've played with the dip switch settings but with no difference in results. Do I need to make a change on the Quad settings? The Camera output is Composite 1.0Vp-p/75Ω if that means anything.

Thanks
Jeremy

You need to set the correct mode. If its set to component you will get black and white on the Y-in.

OR S-Video mode will give you the same result.

As with a lot of these mini converter questions, it probably all boils down to the DIP switches!
