SDI to Analog mini converter black and white only

Just bought it from Amazon. Wondering if it is defective.

Switch 5 is ON

Switch 1 is ON

Have camera SDI out 1080i going to SDI in.

The download converter on the utility is ON 4:3 cut

Is there anything else I can do? Or just send it back?

Any help is appreciated.

Crazy, I unplugged the power and plugged it back in and it starting working with color.

Is there some kind of warm up time it requires???

For posterity, if you're seeing black and white, that probably means the converter is outputting component video instead of composite. That's because the "Y" channel of component video is identical to the black and white portion of a composite signal.
