The Ultrastudio Express what we are using is set up correctly, double checked the input settings on all devices, however it will not accept an analogue signal through the consumer level RCA inputs.
We are doing a standard VHS transfer, have tried various decks, tapes, and even a Sony 8mm deck, all to no avail. Only a flash of an image appears every 30 seconds or so bizarrely . My issue is (and after looking through the forum) IF they point to the source signal source not being strong enough, then WHY 'O' WHY do they ship with the Analogue RCA inputs for CONSUMER based machines which are not going to pump out strong signals???
A Datavideo capture card at $90 able to do this yet this card is having none of it?
