Decklink card work in a thunderbolt enclosure?

PostTue Apr 17, 2018 8:48 pm

I tried to search this within the forums and failed. Please forgive my lack of experience here

I am attempting to get the following to work together but cannot get the drivers to install

-macbook 2015 high Sierra
-akitio thunder2 pcie enclosure
-decklink hd extreme 3d

I installed desktop video 10.9.12 and the system report shows a "video" device under pci

pcibdbd,a121:

Type: Video
Driver Installed: No
Tunnel Compatible: No
Pause Compatible: No
MSI: No
Bus: PCI
Slot: Thunderbolt@193,0,0
Vendor ID: 0xbdbd
Device ID: 0xa121
Subsystem Vendor ID: 0xbdbd
Subsystem ID: 0xa121
Revision ID: 0x0000
Link Width: x4
Link Speed: 2.5 GT/s

when I open desktop video setup software, it says "no desktop video device detected"
