I just got the black magic deck shutle 2. I also bought a PNY 120gb SSD CS900, and after connectied it to my computer formatting it on my computer exFac. I plug in the SSD card, and it flashes for second and then turns off. I'm not what I'm doing wrong, I'm pretty new to this

Verify the SSD you have is on this
list and is approved for use with the HyperDeck Shuttle as this could be the issue with the SSD being detected.

The only PNY SSDs on the list are: PNY Prevail 240 GB (SSD9SC240GCDA-PB) and the Prevail 480 GB (SSD9SC480GCDA-PB) SSDs. The CS900 120 GB SSD is Not on the list, and as Tony pointed out, will not be detected ny the Shuttle. You need to on,y use the SSDs on the list. The Digistore SSDs are one of the more reliable, if you can find one. SanDisk are good also, and work well.
