Help getting Decklink 4k Extreme 12G working
Posted: Sat Aug 04, 2018 12:56 amI have 0 experience with video production and am diving in a bit into the deep end, so apologies if I've missed something 'obvious', but I have spent a ton of time on this and would appreciate any help solving the problem.
Problem
I have a new Decklink 4k Extreme 12G that I can't get to work. It doesn't seem to recognize any incoming signal video or audio. Any capture results in a pure black screen without any audio. The preview never registers any video and the audio meters never register any incoming audio. Media Express displays 'No Remote'
I have tried the card in both my personal computer and, now that it's built, a new machine that will be dedicated to livestreaming.

Device Menu: Shows Decklink 4k Extreme 12G in black (not gray) with checkmark

-XLR Cable from 'Main Left' on back of Mackie mixer to #14 Audio Left on the multi-cable that is plugged into the Decklink
-XLR Cable from 'Main Right' on back of Mackie mixer to #15 Audio Right on the multi-cable that is plugged into the Decklink

-12G SDI Cable from 'SDI Out' on side of BlackMagic Studio Camera 4K to a SDI port on the Decklink (I can't find any indication that it matters which SDI port?)
