UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 working on Thunderbolt 2?
Posted: Tue Jan 15, 2019 6:35 pmI'm considering purchasing the UltraStudio 4K Extreme 3 for connecting with a yet-to-come iMac Pro (or future 2019 MacPro) but in the meantime will it work on an older 2013 MacPro with only thunderbolt 2? Since I can't find a TB2 to TB3 adapter, would a thunderbolt 2 PCI chassis with the PCI express card/cable do the job?
Or should I just stick with an Ultrastudio 4K (TB2) which will work for now and on any future system with TB3 (with adapters).
