Spent time doing graphic design and video editing but new to video production and need some help with recording/post-production issues.
The problem (2 fold):
1.
When importing the video, no audio shows up in the timeline.
I know the audio is there, because when I play the file in Quicktime I can hear it fine.
Thoughts on this?
2. The video has (what I believe to be) interlaced line issues (links to pictures below).
I have tried to match the sequence in Premier Pro to whatever the HyperDeck is recording in, but still doesn't help..
I would like to have a final output of a 1080p movie.
Is there a way to export the media as this with whatever sequence setting I need to have?
Thoughts on how to get the video to look cleaner without the interlaced lines?

I have a HyperDeck Shuttle I would like to use for recording some teachings we place online.
These teachings are about 1 hour in length.
Because of the length of these teachings, I set the HyperDeck to record in Apple ProRes instead of Uncompressed.
I use an iMac with an i7 chip, plenty of memory and great graphics card.
I format the SSD we use to record as a MacOS Extended (Journaled).
Its a Samsung 512GB drive (issue could be in what card I use? Speed test seemed fine...).
I have been using Premier Pro to edit the teachings that we record locally at the camera on an SD card.
But, I would like to start using the HyperDeck shuttle for recording so I can record our camera switches from our ATEM switcher.
