Hey Ellory and everyone else, thanks for the replies. I just got back from trying this one out:
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/ ... d_out.htmlIt was very bright, that's for sure. We set it up with a SmallHD that was adjusted based on consulting the waveform settings. We had to turn the
Feelworld down to about 10% brightness to get it looking near the SmallHD. After 10% nothing happened at all.
He let me borrow it so I'm going to try it a little more early next week. I'll put it up against my Odyssey and the SmallHD again this time with some charts that will have expected results on various exposure monitoring tools.
I'm curious if anyone knows the difference between the Freeworld FW279S and the LUT7S. I think it's just LUT's but am not sure. The one thing neither of these have are any usable scopes. I've found I use waveform and vector scopes often. If I'm moving fast I don't but I use them enough that even when I'm moving fast I've got a good feel for the exposure and am generally very accurate.
After a short time with this monitor I got the feeling that I might underexpose a bit which is something I've read about this ultra bright monitors. Any thoughts on that?
