Weird preview images for RAW Pocket camera

Hello,

I am testing out the new camera and have two weird issues. One is the files from recording RAW in preview on mac is just a bunch of pink streaks, but when I bring one frame into Photoshop it is the image. See attached. The second is while trying out a 28mm lens with an adapter-I am seeing bright green edging around the subject as I focus. When it is out of focus no green. Zebra is off but wouldn't be green. Any ideas?

Page 24 of your manual talks about "focus peaking." That's the green outline you see in the screen.

" The focus peaking feature creates a yellow edge around the sharpest parts of the image so you can easily confirm your focus. Focus peaking is only visible on the LCD and does not affect your recorded picture.

When using Pocket Cinema Camera with an autofocus lens press the FOCUS button for focus peaking or autofocus. Press the FOCUS button once to auto focus. Press the FOCUS button twice for focus peaking.
When using a manual lens, press the FOCUS button once for focus peaking."



Not sure what is causing your streaky images.

The Mac does not support compressed RAW. So Preview does not know how to display the info. Adobe CameraRAW does, that is why the image looks ok in Photoshop.

This is all explained in the firmware thread.

CS4 is pretty old. The Adobe CameraRAW plugin probably does not support compressed DNGs.
