Hi everyone, I've recently bought a brand new Cinema Camera 6K and I've immediately noticed a couple of issues:
The first one is that there are a few stuck pixels on the LCD screen (I am sure it's the screen, not the sensor because they're always in the same place even within menus);
The second one I believe it's a problem, but I'm not sure if it's somehow intended behaviour: the iris control wheel doesn't react well when I turn it counterclockwise. Basically just "stepping" to the next step isn't enough, I have to turn it more counterclowise just before the next "step" of the wheel before it actually changes whatever setting it's currently changing. Turning it clockwise is, instead, very responsive and doesn't seem to miss. This is problematic if I only want to move by a third of a stop as I need to pay attention to how much my finger is moving instead of just feeling the step.
So my questions are:
Is there any way to fix stuck pixels in the LCD screen?
Is that iris wheel problem intended to be a feature or does my unit have some mechanical/electronic problem?
I do have another question, but this is more of a paranoia of mine since I have very recently dealt with another camera with problems (not blackmagic). Ironically the first unit had dead pixels in the lcd as well so I requested a replacement and when the new unit arrived it had different and even worse problems... So, since the Cinema 6K is my first Blackmagic product, can anybody tell me if QC issues are a common occurence or if I can "safely" request a replacement without worrying about possible worse issues?
