So, i´ve picked up a Tilta Nucleus Nano unit for my BMMCC, and i was wondering if it could be used to start / stop recording via LANC.

Can someone please confirm this? I can buy a generic LANC cable and try it, but Tilta makes their own for specific cameras, there is one that is compatible with BMD cameras, but only the BMCC and 2 Ursas are listed under compatibility. That one costs a pretty penny, so i´d like to get soke confirmation on this before i splurge that amount of cash on a single cable
