Blackmagic Camera App for Android not uploading to cloud

So I got the app running on both my S24 Ultra and my Pixel Fold (via side loading) and the only issue I am finding is that I cannot upload to BlackMagic cloud unless I am connected to Wifi. I have ensured the setting for only upload to Wifi but it just says no internet connection when connected to mobile data. Anyone else running into this?
